"When you surrender your plans to Mother Mary, wonderful things can happen''

 This was the experience of pilgrims I met in Medjugorje I had the pleasure of meeting two lovely pilgrims at my office in Medjugorje, and we got to talking. As it was their first time visiting, I thought it would be nice to give them a quick tour of the town. I suggested they leave their letters of petitions to Mother Mary in a basket at the Medjugorje information office. This basket is regularly given to Marija during her Apparitions.

One of the pilgrims, a beautiful lady from Honduras, was moved to tears and took out a handful of letters she had been carrying with her. She had been searching for a special place to leave her and her friend's petitions. She even wondered while at the Apparition Hill but remained uncertain. Upon hearing my suggestion, she felt Mother Mary had answered her prayers. She began to share how she arrived in Medjugorje without a plan and prayed to Mother Mary to guide her during her stay. She had no specific plan for her visit but had entrusted her stay to Mother Mary's guidance. She had been asking Mother Mary for two days where she should leave her petitions and now she knew.

It was a beautiful reminder that when we let go and trust in Mother Mary, she can lead us to where we need to be."
